What do I need to rent a car in Morocco?
A valid driving licence held for at least one year, your passport, and a deposit. An International Driving Permit is recommended but not always required.
Is a 4x4 necessary for Merzouga?
No — sealed roads reach Merzouga village. A 4x4 is only needed for off-road dune excursions, which we run separately with experienced drivers.
How does the deposit work?
Secure your booking with a 15% deposit; the balance and any vehicle security deposit are settled on arrival.
